It is not expensive, but you can make just as wonderful of a blog on blogger. WordPress offers many widgets and customization options that make it an obvious choice for serious, experienced bloggers. You may be serious about blogging, however, you are not experienced, so unless you have experience creating websites, and other things as such, I would strongly recommend that you start out using blogger, and if you decide, you can always export your blog to a new website.

What Can You Expect?
You shouldn't expect to make much money from your blog for a while, unless you have some amazing advertising technique that no one else knows about. Assuming you don't have that amazing marketing technique, you should start making a decent amount from your blog about one year after you start it. By then, if you blog consistently and often, then you should have a fairly large amount of regular viewers. So start a blog today, and don't delay your online income any longer!
